last august 22, bloggers trooped to the launch of the “blog and soul movement” organized by jayvee fernandez, at the newest cookie cafe in town— the mrs. fields cookie cafe!
the owners, husband and wife tandem gerwyn and sheryl see, were very gracious in accommodating our little party of sweet-toothed, cookie hungry webbies. yes, you read it correctly! its a cookie cafe! since acquiring the master franchise last year, the sees’ and their group are set to have mrs. fields conquer us anew with its latest incarnation.
the mrs. fields cookie cafe is the place to go to chill and indulge your sweet cravings. the interior design is homey and done in rich neutral tones and splashes of the signature red. comfy chairs invite you to lounge about and hang out with your friends, all placed into little seating groups to give you that intimate feel.
munch on your favorite cookie variants, or have some of the latest products in the mrs. fields line– all equally delicious and sinful- such as the cookie cups, bars ( i am loving the chocolate peanut butter bar, mr. see=D), muffins, and the biggest cookie i have ever seen… the cookie cake- the first ever, i think, of its kind in the country. its one big cookie decorated with colorful icing. perfect for a cookie lover’s birthday celebration!
but it doesn’t end there. what’s a cafe without coffee? sip on a nice hot cup while enjoying the decadent treats that only mrs. fields can make. feeling hot? then have some of the house chillers and shakes, another new product line-up of the brand. and if you think that’s all they have to offer, think again! mrs. fields also introduces along with its new image the mrs. fields gelato! with several different flavors to choose from, you won’t be able to decide which one to have!
