I got to watch Inside Out about two weeks ago at one of the newer malls in the metro, Fisher Mall. It’s my first time to go watch a movie there, and to be honest, also my first time to go. Fisher Box Office, the cinema of Fisher Mall, has five state-of the-art, high definition digital cinemas one of which is 3D capable. This 3D theater was were I got to watch Inside Out. Watching a movie at Fisher Box Office is very enjoyable. For starters, the theater lobby is very nice, the design of which evokes a 1920’s feel, from the font on the marquee to the frames and lamps lining the lobby wall.
Their 3D cinema is awesome. I’ve never really been a fan of watching movies in 3D because in my experience, the picture quality of most of the movies I’ve seen in 3D isn’t so great.The screen is often so dark that it’s hard to notice the 3D effect, so I usually end up just watching most of the movie without the glasses. The 3D cinema of Fisher Box Office offers a very nice 3D experience because the movie comes out bright and crisp so you get to enjoy everything in vivid detail. I’m no sound expert, but to me, the sound system in the theater is also very good.
Another thing that I love is their seating. The seats, lain-out stadium style, are huge and very comfortable, and each row is positioned and raised enough so that you don’t end up watching the head of the person in front of you even if you were to slouch in your seat. Each cinema of Fisher Box Office, including the 3D-capable theater, can accommodate 250 movie patrons.
By the way, Fisher Box Office now offers an online ticketing system for its patrons. The system, which recently launched, is very easy to use- all you have to do is sign up with your email. Once your account has been confirmed, you can start reserving and buying tickets and pay for them using your credit card. Movie-watching at Fisher Box Office has been such a wonderful experience so I’m definitely coming back to watch more movies there.
