There is no way you can celebrate Valentine’s Day without chocolate! This February, troop to the Maya Kitchen and watch how the pros add that unmistakable touch to your favorite chocolate Valentine desserts. You can bake it from scratch and decorate like a pro – this is what Nikko Buendia will teach in her Valentine Designer Cupcake class on February 4, Saturday, 9am-2pm. On the same day, 1-6pm, Roxanne Arcilla Kangleon will demonstrate Chocolate Candy Making for Fun and Profit with actual hands on in the preparation and molding of lollipop, black and white bark, choco flakes, chocolate dipped caramel apples, chocolate turtle, chocolate coated toffee and chocolate truffle.

Saltimbanco- from the Italian “saltare in banco,” which literally means “to jump on a bench”- explores the urban experience in all its myriad forms: the people who live there, their idiosyncrasies and likeness, families and groups, the hustle and bustle of the street and the towering heights of skyscrapers. A signature show, it is inspired by the urban fabric of the metropolis and its colorful inhabitants. Decidedly baroque in its visual, the show’s eclectic cast of characters draws spectators into a fanciful, dreamlike world, an imaginary city where diversity is a cause for hope.

Chef Kittin finished Associate of Science in Culinary Management from Daytona Beach College in Florida, USA and also took up further studies at the Culinary Institute of America. She is a partner at the Cookbook Kitchen where she also manages the catering division.

On the same day at 2-6pm, Manju Abichandani conducts a demonstration on Vegetarian Dishes Pinoy Style that includes exciting meals from meat substitutes like Sisig Adobo, Caldereta, BBQ, Pancit and Lengua.
